The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center, located in Duncan, OK is a multi sensory submersion into not only the fascinating historic Chisholm Trail, but also settlement of the southern Great Plains of the United States. Not your typical "stop and stare," our exhibits encourage you to explore, push buttons, pick up a lasso, or put on a cowboy hat. Animatronic Jesse Chisholm and his friend, Tex tell the story of the trail in our campfire theater. The earth literally shakes to the real life rumble of a stampede in our experience theater. The Garis Gallery of the American West houses many of the highest quality western artists such as Remington, Russell, and Jaxon.
