47 Council Grove Elementary students rode for over an hour from Oklahoma City to participate in "Making History with the Arts". Their school, Council Grove Elementary, is part of Western Heights Independent School District.
They learned the principals of art and experienced a realistic cattle drive on a giant movie screen.
In their final class, they raced across the grass to obtain certificates to land which is part of our popular Land Run Session. Their school is named after the trading post established by Jesse Chisholm situated at Council Road and 10th Street in southwest Oklahoma City.
