Robyn Cook, a talented artist, coming to Heritage Center

Posted by Bill Benson on 11/04/2009

You are invited to meet Robyn for a reception at the Heritage Center Thursday, November 19th, from 6 to 8 P.M.  These two images are an example of her talent.

Robyn commented, "I am a huge fan of artist Robert 'Shoofly' Shufelt (his art is part of the reason why I got into drawing) My most enjoyable subjects to draw are Equine and Western Scenes...but am commissioned for various subjects.

Pieces of her work will be available for purchase at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center starting November 19.  It will be on display through December 2009.  This is a must see art exhibit.

Original pieces are also available at the Bryant Gallery in Kingsville, Texas. The gallery also allowed me the honor to do the portrait for the 'South Texan of The Year', Al Jones, which will be presented to him in January 2010 at the South Texas Charity Quail Hunt Event on the King Ranch, Art Preview, Quail Hunt and Banquet - January 22-24 (I'll be present for this event)
