The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center, located in Duncan, Oklahoma, brings the old west and cowboy history to life through interactive exhibits, art and movies. Education programs provide history of the southern Great Plains of the United States.

Explore, push buttons, pick up a lasso, or wear a cowboy hat. We want you to have fun while you are here!

In our T.H. McCasland Jr. Chisholm Trail Experience Theater you will feel the rumble of a stampede as you watch the movie.

Stroll through the Garis Gallery of the American West to see works by famous historical western artists like Charlie Russell or Frederic Remington or newer works by more contemporary artists like Canadian Ramona Swift, who is also a member of Artists For Conservation. Our exhibit includes beautiful bronzes of all sizes, including one by Michael Anthony Ricker.

Currently, our temporary exhibit is Allan Houser: Legend Born Free and features the original art and illustrations of this famous artist, who would have been 100 years old this year. He died at the age of 80. This exhibit remains on display until August 15.
